Why the need?
With regards to Aged Care, In Home Care Solutions, (IHCS,) was created because the Australian government, after 4 years of studies, concluded that Australian Seniors wanted to be looked after in their own homes to the end of their life.
These studies led to the Gillard government legislating in 2013 "the living longer living better initiative" to provide over 3 billion dollars worth of packages to assist senior Australians gain access to “home care packages” (see www.myagedcare.gov.au ) for details.
What the Australian government, under Labour and now the coalition did not factor in was, in Australia, we have a major shortage of Nurses and also qualified Age Care Workers. (PCA).
